Texas Sheet Cake Bites (Absolutely DELISH)

Texas Sheet Cake Bites

Dry Ingredients:

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

2 Cups Granulated Sugar

½ tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:

1 Cup Butter

1 Cup Water

5 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder

½ Cup Buttermilk

2 eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a mini muffin tin by spraying liberally with baking spray.

1.  Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.

2.  In a heavy saucepan, mix butter, water and cocoa Powder. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Pour the hot mixture onto the dry ingredients. Mix lightly. Add milk and eggs and stir until well blended.

3.  Spoon a small amount into muffin tin (about ¾ way up each muffin tin). Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes (The timing depends on your particular oven. You are looking for the cake to bounce back when lightly touched with finger.) Let the cake bites cool completely. (*I normally will take the bites out of the pan by using a kitchen knife and gently place on a cooling rack)

6 Tbsp. buttermilk

½ Cup Butter

3 ¾ cup Powdered Sugar

5 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans – pick your favorite

1.  In heavy saucepan (like before) heat butter, milk and cocoa powder until it starts to bubble. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Add nuts and stir.

2.  Ice each of the bites with this chocolate magic! This will NOT disappoint.
